- [Reading Diverse Horror or The Myth of Meritocracy](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/reading-diverse-horror-or-the-myth-of-meritocracy/): How do you choose the books you read?
- [Crafting for Sinners review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/crafting-for-sinners-review/): I requested this ARC after seeing that it was loosely based on a cult working out of a Hobby Lobby-style christian craft store and was stoked to read and give my review.
- [Reef Mind – review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/reef-mind-review/): I love being part of the Tenebrous Press ARC team because of books like Reef Mind by Hazel Zorn.
- [Queen O’Nine Tails review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/queen-onine-tails-review/): As a fan of The Flesh of the Sea, when Hedone posted it was looking for ARC readers for its next queer pirate excursion, I was ready!
- [The Bewitching review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/the-bewitching-review/): Being a fan of Silvia Moreno-Garcia’s book Silver Nitrate, I was stoked to get an ARC of her next horror story, The Bewitching.
- [Witch 13 review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/witch-13-review/): I received this book in exchange for my honest review. I went in expecting a traditional witchy fairy tale horror and got so much more than I expected!
- [Familiar review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/familiar-review/): I’ve read enough indie horror that when I see a new book from Ghoulish Press with a cover by Betty Rocksteady, I know its gonna be good. Familiar by Jeremy C.
- [I Believe in Mister Bones review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/i-believe-in-mister-bones-review/): I will admit, I was rabid to get my hands on an ARC of I Believe in Mister Bones ever since Max Booth III shared a glimpse of the title a year or so ago.
- [The Necromancer’s Bride Review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/the-necromancers-bride-review/): I heard about this from some fellow erotic romance book nerds as a book for those who were down with the truly weird, gross, and dark.
- [Watch Me review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/watch-me-review/): As a fan of BDSM and kink, I was excited when I got the chance to read Watch Me by Stacey Kennedy. It certainly didn’t let me down!
- [Winterly Review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/winterly-review/): If Jane Austen wrote Dracula it would be Winterly by Jeanine Croft.
- [Coup de Grace review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/coup-de-grace-review/): You ever look at a M. C. Escher print too long and feel something akin to vertigo when you look away, back to reality?
- [Bad Cree review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/bad-cree-review/): I picked up Bad Cree by Jessica Johns after seeing Naomi of From the Mixed Up Desk/Boozhoo recommend it on her TikTok and Instagram.
- [My Heart is a Chainsaw review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/my-heart-is-a-chainsaw-review/): My Heart is a Chainsaw by Stephen Graham Jones is a love letter to slashers and lost girls.
- [Why Didn’t You Just Leave review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/why-didnt-you-just-leave-review/): When I grabbed the eARC of Why Didn’t You Just Leave, I expected a collection of interesting ghost stories.
- [Melon Head Mayhem review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/melon-head-mayhem-review/): Deep dive into a old horror b-movie in book form with Melon Head Mayhem by Alex Ebenstein!
- [Below review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/below-review/): A mothman horror novel by the creator of the poltergeist book that unnerved me to my soul? Hell yes I was excited to read Below by Laurel Hightower!
- [The Twisted Ones Review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/the-twisted-ones-review/): Appalachian and UK fae folklore meets horror in this story where despite promises that the dog lives I was kept on the edge of my seat throughout.
- [The Day of the Door review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/the-day-of-the-door-review/): I received The Day of the Door by Laurel Hightower in exchange for my honest review and I was so stoked because just the cover alone is horrifying.
- [Blink review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/blink-review/): I received Blink by Christopher Sebela in exchange for my honest review.

- [Static Screams review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/static-screams-review/): I admit the cover is what sold me on this book. When Nico Bell posted it on Bluesky, I was ready to read it before I even looked at the back copy.
- [Saint Grit review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/saint-grit-review/): I received an ARC of Saint Grit in exchange for my honest review. I was intrigued by this book admittedly because of the cover which is fantastic!
- [Silver Nitrate book review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/silver-nitrate-book-review/): I am very grateful to have received an ARC of Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
- [Mister Magic review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/mister-magic-review/): I was thrilled to receive a copy of Kiersten White’s Mister Magic not only because the nostalgia horror premise matches vibes of the Public Access TTRPG and is right up my alley but also because I LOVED her book Hide.
- [The Worm and His Kings review](https://blackenvelopebooks.com/the-worm-and-his-kings-review/): You ever read a book and it change how you look at horror ever again?
